DALE pontoon and Griffin Wall
DALE: is one of the most sheltered launching points from wind and waves as it is tucked inside Milford Haven and faces east. Convenient for diving the wrecks in the Harbour if it's too rough on the "outside" and only 20 mins ribtime from the Islands.
Parking can fill up so get there early and Slip can be busy so be well prepared for a quick launch. Bottom quarter of tide has flat sand which extends out hundreds of metres so check your tide times for launching and recovering.
Pontoon for loading/dropping off.
Good food and drink at the "Griffin Inn" on the seawall next to the slipway.

Launching at Gellyswick
GELLYSWICK: is the beach at the west end of Milford Haven Town so is handy for all facilities ..Shops, food, fuel & parking. It also saves on travelling time to Dale
The bay here is sheltered from almost all wind/wave directions even if you have to launch off the shingle at the West end.
Quick to access the wreck sites on the Haven and 10 minutes out to the entrance to Milford Haven at St. Annes Head
LITTLE HAVEN & BROAD HAVEN: twin villages in the southwest corner of St. Brides bay.
BROAD HAVEN has wide firm sands. Beach launching usually into small waves.
Village Shop/ minimarket, pubs, restaurant, cafe.
LITTLE HAVEN: more sheltered than Broad Haven. Launch fees for slipway.
Good evening publife. Pubs, restaurant, Bistro and cafe all do good food
Popular with locals and can get busy so book early
Little Haven, Castle Inn
SOLVA: fiordlike drying harbour/inlet, very sheltered from north wind especially. Slipways at top half of tide, launch fees apply. Lots of good pubs, restaurants, craft shops.
